We are looking for an exceptional team member to join our team as a Project Engineer.JOB TITLE Project EngineerREPORTING Program DirectorJOB SUMMARYThe function of a Project Engineer is to support the field of operations on projects. Job responsibilities may include but not be limited to the below.RESPONSIBILITIES-Foster positive communications and relationships with team members, management, vendors, and clients-Develop/review specifications and arrangement drawings for a variety of conveyors, automatic storage/retrieval machines, automatic guide vehicles and other materials handling subsystem equipment to be -integrated for a complete system-Research, specify and recommend electrical equipment and systems-Develop electrical equipment and power distribution equipment specifications; prepare electrical load calculations-Prepare electrical single line drawings, schematics and detail drawings as required-Keep up to date on industry trends and developments-Review vendor proposals and drawings for equipment purchases to ensure suitability of design to meet performance and specification requirements.-Evaluate system wide provisions for maintenance, safeguarding, and compliance with industry and applicable regulatory standards.-Support project engineer management team in completion of paperwork, materials, and expediting schedule-Create and supply installation drawing packages and specifications as appropriate to enable efficient installation of the projects.-Actively participate in meetings-Be willing and ready to travel to project sites to obtain information, evaluate progress quality and accuracy of installation-Adhere to company policies and proceduresKNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES-Knowledge and understanding of warehouse, order fulfillment, material handling, and supply chain processes and procedures-Ability to work in an office environment as well as in the field as in the filed as requested-Adaptability, critical thinking and problem solving-Proven track record working with people, teams, and projects-Ability to travel as neededEDUCATION -Bachelor of Electrical EngineeringEXPERIENCE1-5 years of direct engineering experience1-5 years equivalent experience in electrical design/construction industryMicrosoft Office projects & Auto CADExperience in 3D drawings packages is desired PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS-Frequent sitting, walking, and standing-Lifting and carrying up to 20 LBS-30% travel
