ROLE DESCRIPTION:

Challenge yourself by selling the intrinsic value of SAP Fieldglass software solutions to our customers. Grow with one of the most successful solution sales organizations in the world as a Fieldglass Sales Development Executive.

The primary responsibility of the Fieldglass Sales Development Executive is to build and manage a pipeline of software license opportunities and incremental revenue by systematic prospecting aligned with marketing and field sales executives. The FG Sales Development Executive drives prospect engagements and opportunity qualifications to secure incremental pipeline. As an integral part of the account team, the FG Sales Development Executive leverages other SAP resources, including presales teams, to drive sales engagements.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS:

  • Creating and prioritizing strategic cold-calling and prospecting initiatives to generate new business qualified opportunities to build sales pipeline

  • Conducting high level qualifying conversations with our core audience in a consultative approach over the telephone

  • Following up on leads and conduct research to identify potential prospects within defined territories/vertical segments

  • Building cross-departmental trusted relationships and understanding operational business processes/challenges linked to the corporate strategic goals of our prospective customers and mapping these onto the Intelligent Spend Management portfolio of solutions

  • Meeting and exceeding pipeline contribution and sourced bookings quota to help accelerate revenue growth

  • Identifying key buying influencers within prospects to determine budget and timeline

  • Building and cultivating prospect relationships by initiating communications and conducting follow-up communications to move leads to high quality opportunities

WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Preferably 2-4 years’ experience in complex solutions sales

  • Successful experience in multichannel go-to-market model

  • Experience working in technology field preferred

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in business or IT-related discipline

  • Ability to sustain high volume outbound activity

  • Proven sales ability and drive

  • Ability to work independently with a strong drive for results

  • Good IT or enterprise resource planning knowledge; an understanding of SAP solutions as an asset

  • Strong facility with teamwork and an ability to learn and adapt quickly

  • Ability to serve as a trusted advisor to customers

  • Strong customer focus and excellent interpersonal skills

  • Ability to articulate the SAP value proposition clearly in an industry context and to listen actively to customers to identify prioritized customer needs

  • Knowledge and understanding of both direct and Indirect channel dynamics
