In this position you will spend the first part of your day making Outbound calls and taking Inbound calls from members. On these calls, you will address any issues and Benefit questions, as well as schedule appointments, if needed, to go and meet with the members face-to-face. Your second part of the day with be following through with any scheduled face-to-face visits with members. You will make sure that they are taking advantage of services that they need, as well as getting the correct care. You must have strong verbal and written Communication skills and strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Knowledge of Healthcare and Insurance Benefits is a major plus.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma / GED (or higher)

  • 1+ years of experience working in a Medical or Healthcare environment

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA requirements

  • Experience with Microsoft Word (create correspondence and work within templates), Microsoft Excel (data entry, sort / filter, and work within tables), and Microsoft Outlook (email and calendar management)

  • Ability to travel 50% to client and patient sites within their assigned territory in Wayne County, Medina County, and Stark County

  • Access to reliable transportation that will enable you to travel to client and / or patient sites within a designated area

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (or higher)

  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish

  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology / Coding (ICD-9 and CPT)

  • Managed Care experience with knowledge of Community-based programs

  • Social Work or Case Management experience
