This global role involves developing and implementing Business Process Improvement approach within the Accounts Payable function in Finance Shared Services (FSS) organization by providing strategic transformational expertise through the deployment of Business Process Improvements, related tools and thought processes. Contributes to business results through quality of results, advice and decisions and acts as the key subject matter expert regarding process improvement initiatives. Provides project management leadership within a global structure and at functional level. Responsible for developing and driving cost effective, strategic project and business improvement opportunities while implementing and accelerating constructive long-term change.
10+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Strong understanding and application of Business Process Improvement Methodology and Tools.
Strong project management skills with proven success in driving and completing multiple large cross-functional / cross regional BPI projects.
Process and solutions oriented with a strong drive for results
Strong analytical skills with demonstrated capability in Excel or similar spreadsheet software. Ability to develop charts and graphs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills required with the ability to collaborate effectively with a variety of cultures and cross functional teams.
Assumes leadership role as the key continuous improvement consultant in a learn and do approach.
Directly interfaces with key leadership and functional experts providing insight and advice on Business Process Improvement approaches to strategic business challenges.
Incorporates the use of data analysis, project management and business process improvement methodology and tools in leading cross regional / cross functional projects and business management processes.
Stays current in the field through continuous learning, and lead internal and external best practice benchmarking activities across the GFS organization
Be a change agent and influences projects and business improvement initiatives to directly contribute to stated strategic objectives.
Develops solutions to business problems through in-depth analysis and developing innovative solutions
Designs and develops global processes, systems and/or applications.
Presents recommendations and progress reports to senior and executive leadership.
