CHC Helicopter has an opportunity for aSr. HRIT Analyst (Workday). The Sr. HRIT Analyst will assist the global HR team with Workday support and functionality improvements.

Supports key processes and accountabilities globally within the Workday system, primarily in the areas of Human Resources, Performance Management, Security, and Absence Management. Manages the integrity of the data, security rights, business processes & reporting requirements. Technical support for Workday module implementations including configurations and testing


  • Analyze HR processes and make recommendations for improvements via the use of technology. Oversees the specifications, development and implementation of new or redesigned systems, reports, and procedures for HR module users to ensure efficient business processes

  • Project work for all Workday module implementations and improvements including gathering requirements, system configurations, and testing to ensure the business requirements are met.

  • Ensures quality, timeliness and proper use of HR information retrieved from systems. Manages requests for the HR, performance management, and Absence Management modules, ensuring security of HR information through established security protocol. Supports and ensures issue tracking and resolution formulating from HR systems.

  • Oversees the HR module data tables, structures, files and interface requirements. Ensures the integrity of the HR data system. Ensures SOX compliance with Workday by following IT change management procedures.

  • Develops data integrity protocols between HR, Payroll, Operations etc, departments internal to the HR module.

  • Prepares reports for employee data contained in the HR system in response to requests from users within

  • Human Resources and from users in other departments. Dashboard development may be required.

  • Resolves Workday issues/act as Workday “trouble shooter” for Human Resources

  • Develop training and documentation of system use for HR users.

  • Researches new techniques in the development of systems and maintains knowledge of current trends and strategies in technology fields relating to HRIS /IT.

  • Employees must comply with and adhere to all company policies

  • May perform other duties as assigned.

  • International travel may be required.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • University degree plus a minimum of five years’ experience as HRIS/IT analyst, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience

  • Proficiency with MS Excel

  • Experience in HR project implementations / enhancements

  • Must have excellent time management skills in meeting deadlines

  • Exercises considerable judgment, tact and discretion in preparing and handling information of a sensitive nature

  • Must be resourceful and have a customer-focused attitude

Experience with Workday an essential requirement including:

  • WD BP (business processes) configurations required

  • WD report designer / EIB file prep required, WD studio integration a plus

  • Knowledge of JIRA CM (change management) procedures a plus, WD tenants deployment (sandbox, UAT, PROD, etc.)
