Facebook is seeking an experienced Business Operations Associate who will partner with business unit leaders to help drive performance across our Games business. As part of the Partnerships Finance team, this person will operate across the full spectrum of business operations and finance needs including strategic and financial planning, performance management, and decision-making support. Successful candidates for this position will have a demonstrated track record of success in these areas, as well as, strong business partnering experience in a high-growth environment. Successful candidates will also have an orientation towards action, analytical rigor, and autonomy. The position is full-time and located in Menlo Park, CA.
Strategic and Financial Planning: Own operational and financial Plan and Outlook for the business during our company-wide planning processes and on an ongoing basis across operational metrics, revenue, and opex.
Understand business performance drivers and variance to plan.
Lead Monthly Business Reviews with cross-functional teams driving actionable outcomes.
Share business performance narratives with Management.
Collaborate with cross-functional team to define KPIs and implement measurement.
Product Analytics & Operational Management: Partner with cross-functional team to make real-time decisions on operating the business:
Measuring and improving performance i.e. acquisition->engagement->monetization funnels.
Initiative prioritization and headcount allocation.
Evaluating external commercial opportunities.
Strategy: Evaluate medium to longer term opportunities i.e. market entry, pricing, vertical prioritization working with Product Marketing and Market Strategy teams.
Connective Tissue: Proactively engage as a liaison between Product, Partnerships, Sales, Marketing, Analytics, and other teams.
BS or MS in business-related or quantitative field (Finance, Economics, Math, Statistics, Engineering, or similar discipline).
4+ years of work experience in investment banking, private equity, management consulting, or business operations at a high-growth tech company.
Experience influencing leadership of organizations.
6+ years of experience.
Experience and personal interest in Gaming.
Experience as a business partner to GTM and Product leaders.
Experience with SQL.
