Facebook is seeking a leader for our Operations Technical Program Management (OPM) team with a focus on Network Deployment and Support. The Director, for the Infrastructure Data Center (IDC) team will lead an organization of multiple program management teams in the design, development and deployment of systems and programs to efficiently manage network deployment and operations activities and work flows across all levels of the IDC team.
This role will create industry leading vision and strategy, help scale operations, develop teams and management talent, and develop processes and standards to enable Facebook's expansion. This position is full-time in the Menlo Park location.

Develop and maintain scalable organization with a well-documented roadmap, goals and objectives.
Help create and manage the vision and strategy to take the operations to the next level of industry leadership.
Work with centralized organizations and data center regions to assess operational gaps, design, develop and implement scalable and flexible solutions.
Ability to understand, collaborate and influence across functional organizations.
Manage high-performance and diverse teams in a rapid change environment.
Assist the Infrastructure Data Center teams with the development of a comprehensive program management framework to ensure the teams can move fast while incorporating changes to plan.
Work with peer organizations to develop solutions for cross-functional issues and support requirements associated with network operations, project management and supply chain operations.
Design and implement innovative and robust processes and standards in support of technology and other data center support areas as required.
Develop and manage to Key Performance Index (KPI) for the services provided by Operations Program Management team.
Approximately 10-15% travel required.
10+ years of experience leading network or technical organizations.
Track record of implementing and managing infrastructure programs (think data centers, capacity, networking, hardware, and software).
Knowledge of software as a service business model and its product development lifecycle.
Knowledge of production environments and operational dependencies.
Proven experience thinking customer-first and in building strategies and solutions to meet customer needs.
Organizational, communication, interpersonal, relationship building experience.
Experience working in a cross-functional, matrix management environment consisting of network engineering, software engineering, infrastructure, production engineering and business operations teams.
Experience in development of a management team, and in personnel management and staffing.
Knowledge of IP and optical network infrastructure at data centers and POPs.
Experience leading projects.
Knowledge of data center power and cooling infrastructure.
Knowledge of environmental health and safety programs.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Management Information Systems, or MBA.
