Job Description/Experience Requirements

This position is for a Senior Assistant, reporting to the Corporate Governance Head, based in Mexico City (Santa Fe, Roberto Medellín 800). The role will be required to proactively provide all day-to-day administrative and secretarial support to the Corporate Governance Head and its team. The duties will be complex and highly confidential and will require a high level of discretion and judgment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare internal/external correspondence in addition to maintaining, answering and routing correspondence not requiring the Corporate Governance Head’s attention.

  • Maintain daily appointment calendar and meetings.

  • Coordinate travel arrangements and processes for job trips as well as prepare travel expenses statements.

  • Create and keep up to date files of the Corporate Governance Head’s correspondence, records, etc.

  • Assists with ad hoc reports, special projects, organizational charts, etc.

  • Prepare and review materials for the Corporate Governance Head’s use in meetings or other forums.

  • Coordinate work involving confidential company and personnel related information including performance appraisals, travel and expenses, vacation schedules, etc.

  • Assist the Corporate Governance Head in the preparation of power point presentations for regulators, Town Halls and ad hoc conferences and senior executive meetings.

  • Support communication activities for the legal location including managing logistics for Town Halls and location-wide or team events, and setting up video conference meetings.

  • Supports administrative activities for the legal location, such as (as applicable):

  • Administering parking spaces.

  • Coordinating onboarding activity in relation to new joiners and co-source staff.

  • Leading logistical arrangements for staff training courses held in the location.

  • Administering filing systems and physical records management.

  • Maintaining necessary office supplies, making requests through Marketplace/P2P.

  • Assisting in the handling of corporate credit cards.



Technical Degree as Assisstant or similar, or High School degree or BA Degree (desired) or equivalent

  • Significant senior level EA experience. (at least 5 years)

  • English level advanced

  • Significant experience in the financial services industry.

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft packages, including a proven ability to produce professional power point presentations. (Word, PP, Excell, etc)

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work proactively without close supervision.

  • Strong judgment and decision making skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, strong energy and enthusiasm.
