Wells Fargo is seeking a senior level end user virtualization engineer to join the Team Member Technologies Virtualization Engineering team. He/She must understand the value of partnership, thinking creatively, and be passionate about creating industry leading user experience through virtualization technologies. The successful candidate produces well-tested, well-documented, and stable products; is self-motivated, a problem-solver; and is comfortable providing guidance to less experienced staff. He/She will be capable of handling multiple, concurrent requests, capable of working quickly and supporting a culture of continuous improvement. This virtualization engineer will be part of the team responsible for modelling and delivery of Wells Fargo team member experience through technology to >65k users. He/she should have previous experience in major virtualization technologies including but not limted to VMware, Citrix, and Microsoft and various cloud/hybrid-cloud technology vendors. The ideal candidate will have past experience in varous Microsoft Windows deployment and configuration technologies, and should also be comfortable automating repeatable tasks, and designing products which have self-service in mind.

Work location is flexible and can be at primary Wells Fargo location or remote office

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of operating systems analysis experience, operating systems engineering experience, or a combination of both

  • 5+ years of experience working with Citrix/VMware technology

  • 3+ years of product development experience

  • 3 + years of PowerShell scripting experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization

  • 2+ years of source or version control tools experience

  • Knowledge and understanding of Agile

  • Knowledge and understanding of cloud computing
