Manager, Global Paid Channel Lead, CRM - Job Description

We're looking for an analytical, creative and highly-motivated individual with experience managing SEM, paid (web and mobile) display & social channels to help us build out a world-class consumer engagement engine at Symantec’s Consumer Business unit. As Channel Manager for SEM, Display, Paid Social and Mobile, you will be responsible for developing and managing high-scale campaigns across channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, DSP’s/Ad Networks, as well as testing emerging platforms such as Snapchat, Messenger, and more.

We’re looking for a quantitative-minded individual who has experience in campaign strategy, tactical optimization, multi-channel reporting and analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Manage implementation, monitoring, creative testing, bidding optimization, and experimentation across SEM, display & social channels to meet customer retention goals

  • Drive the planning, best practice implementation, build campaigns, conduct keyword and audience research, review and edit ad creative/copy, and manage budgets/bids to maximize return across keywords and audiences

  • Fully manage the day-to-day execution and optimization of paid search, social, and display (mobile and web) campaigns across Adwords, Bing, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and DoubleClick For Publisher and with agencies and vendor contacts.

  • Effectively manage programmatic optimization and operational support, data mining & performance analysis, reporting, pixel management, billing, etc.

  • Develop campaign strategy and a tactical execution roadmap, while maintaining a healthy Customer Lifecycle Value : Return On Ad Spend ratio

  • Stay abreast of and share changes in search engine signals, market share, competitive landscape, and new advances in SEM

  • Implement rigorous test-and-learn methodology across new platforms, ad products, audiences and creative types

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the acquisition marketing, product, engineering and analytics teams to automate personalized, feed-based campaigns, set up incrementality tests and develop robust performance monitoring dashboards

  • Work closely with brand and local teams to support new product launches, partnership promotions, and localized campaigns

  • Generate weekly and monthly reports to track campaign and channel results across all markets and campaigns

  • Develop and document best practices regarding the measurement of ad effectiveness, especially as it relates to marketing effectiveness and multi-channel campaign optimization

  • Analyze trends and improve media performance based on KPIs

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of digital marketing experience, managing digital campaigns to acquire & engage users throughout the funnel

  • Experience working with mobile & web paid channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, DSP’s and Ad Networks

  • Experience targeting different audience segments using 1st and 3rd party data

  • Experience doing digital marketing in B2C or e-commerce environment is a plus

  • Experience working with ad servers, DMP, DSP, and data onboarding tools is a plus

  • Experience successfully managing multiple multichannel campaigns at an agency or in-house

  • Proven success in utilizing analytics to provide strategic recommendations and drive concrete action

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with an ability to distill complex ideas into easily understandable stories

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented

  • Self-motivated, comfortable working independently

  • BA/BS degree with strong academic record
