The P&A Lead Analyst in US Branded Cards Finance is a line of business facing role that provides financial support to the Marketing Optimization team and Cards leadership by providing actionable insights into US Branded Cards Marketing investments. Responsible for expense forecast, reporting & model review for all US Marketing Expense.
Key responsibilities include:
Forecast, report and reconcile Marketing and Advertising expenses for the US Branded Cards business
Monitor quarterly investment constraints that could impact US Branded Cards Marketing programs
Consolidate marketing models and submit monthly forecasts of Marketing spend to support Outlook/Flash
Present weekly updates on Marketing and Advertising expenses to the Marketing Investment Council
Support quarterly Marketing Optimization process
Track external sources of marketing investment funding and submit reimbursement requests
Develop options and drive resolution of over/under expense position and assigned tasks
Collaborate with FP&A and line of business to identify expense opportunities and risks
Deliver ongoing insights to reengineer marketing forecasting and reporting processes
Perform sensitivity analysis on levels of marketing spend
Maintain marketing expense trend file

Partner with FP&A Expense Forecasting team to transition programs into BAU plans

Familiarity with database systems (e.g., DBF, Essbase, etc.) to retrieve and organize large quantities of data
Identify process improvements, create strategies to optimize approach and collaborate with necessary stakeholders to execute
