Relevant Experience

  • Ten (10) years of experience as Certified PMP Project Manager

  • Five (5) years of managing information and cyber security programs

  • Breadth and Depth of exposure to the unique challenges facing clients across a wide number of industries, including: Banking and Financial Services, Manufacturing, Transportation and Logistics, Retail, Media, Energy and Utilities, Telecommunications, Automotive, Aerospace and Defense, Pharmaceuticals and Biotech, Food and Beverage, Healthcare, and Government.

  • Proficient with the roles and objectives of IT Audit, compliance and security

  • Proficient at verbal and written communications targeted at all levels of an organization

Role Description

  • Primary Expectations

    • Ability to manage large security software deployments

    • Assess business and technical requirements

    • Develop strategic implementation strategies

    • Ability to manage key phases around our technology deployments (Architect, Deploy, Configure and Integrate Enterprise-class software)

    • Facilitate program/project reviews.

    • Lead Symantec and customer teams to deliver world-class service

    • Create/Drive detailed documentation

  • Secondary Expectations

    • Provide leadership and mentoring to team members

    • Maintain knowledge level through continuing education opportunities

    • Assist in the project lifecycle, from sales to closeout

    • Meet KPI Metrics

    • Assume responsibility for the ongoing maintenance and improvement of methodologies, document templates and internal processes related to project delivery

    • Lead acquisition of new skills as additional products are developed or integrated

Certifications and Memberships

  • CISSP or MBA in Security Information or Cyber Security

  • PMI / PMP Cert or MBA in Project Management or Master in Project Management
