Experian QA Test Manager - Credit Services in Sofia, Bulgaria

We are currently looking for a Test Manager to join our Credit Services team. The role includes responsibilities related to projects and people across EMEA region that delivers QA/Test service to Norway. It will incorporate management and leading skills, as well it will require from the position holder to have wide knowledge in the Quality assurance and Testing areas, management of the the daily work of the QA/Testers and communication of all QA/Test issues with different stakeholders.

Role responsibilities:

• Coordinate QA tasks for Application maintenance activities, which includes receiving and assigning all testing activities to the test team in Sofia and Bangalore India (NTT resources)

• Sign off on all QA activities for Application maintenance tasks.

• Function as Test manager in project related to client specific deliveries.

• Take full responsibility of the test data in QAT and UAT environments to ensure the test data is fit for purpose and in compliance with legal and security requirements.

• Actively participate in P1 incidents to identify root cause and test fixes needed (if applicable)

• Perform regression/smoke testing in service windows when needed, or lead such activities.

• Actively drive and improve the QA process and working methods to improve both QA quality and effectiveness. Establishing automated regression testing is key to achieve higher effectiveness.

• Will work in closer relationship with colleagues from next departments, but not limited to: Development, Project Management, Product management, Presales and Sales People, etc.

• The role would be expected to work outside of normal office hours and in weekends if needed for P1 incidents and in scheduled service windows (when needed). We normally don’t need a test manager in service windows, but it can happen.

• The role will as part of the client projects be communicating directly to clients.

Experience

• Excellent knowledge to the contemporary technologies for quality assurance and testing, for instance but not limited to: V-model, SCRUM, FDD, etc.; functional testing, none functional testing automation, etc.

• 5 + years’ experience in the field of quality assurance and testing.

• 3 + years on a managerial role in a multicultural environment.

• Either bachelor or master degree or equivalent experience is needed.
