Fairview Health Services Lead Credentialing Training Coordinator in St Paul, Minnesota

Overview

Fairview Health Services is looking for a Lead Credentialing Training Coordinator based out of the Fairview Offices at Energy Park in St. Paul, Minnesota. This is a full time benefit eligible positon.

Responsibilities/Job Description

This position is responsible for conducting basic and advanced job skills training for new and existing employees of the system Credentialing department to ensure consistency and achieve the highest standards of customer service and quality control. You will also Ensures all training processes for credentialing meet Joint Commission (JC) and National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) standards, as well as Developing, implementing and facilitating education and training programs and opportunities. Evaluate training program and make improvements as needed. You will also Assists and works with team members to address questions regarding processing of files, problem solving, identifies and assists with opportunities for improvement in credentialing processes, and develops new processes. Utilizes statistics and quality review reports to develop on-going training and to provide feedback to employees

  • Partners with department leaders to identify training needs, and propose solutions that are efficient and in alignment with department objectives

  • Employ knowledge of learning styles and use of various techniques to design, organize and execute individual and team training to new and current staff to ensure maximum productivity, competency, consistency, and the highest standards of customer service.

  • Conduct face-to-face training. Adjust training styles to address individual and group dynamics to ensure an environment conducive to learning

  • Provide proactive evaluation, follow-up communication, and summaries to measure success and establish next steps.

  • Partner with leaders to identify knowledge or skill needs of individual employees and provide education and training as needed to ensure opportunities for employees to succeed.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Associate Degree, preferably in healthcare, education or related field

  • 1 year of credentialing related experience and 1 year of training experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in healthcare, education, or related field

  • 3 years of Credentialing experience and 3 years of training experience

  • CPCS certification
