Overview

Maplewood Family Practice, part of Atlantic Medical Group, is currently seeking a CMA to join our team.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

  • The CMA will perform clinical as well as administrative functions, i.e., managing patient flow, rooming patients, vital signs, patient intake, registering and scheduling patients in a practice management system, and other duties typical of a CMA in a physician practice.

Qualifications

Education:

  • HS Diploma required

  • Graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Medical Assistant certification through AAMA, AMCA, AMT, NCCT or NHA required

  • Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate physician schedule

  • Position requires one evening shift per week until 7:30PM and one Saturday a month 8:00AM - 12:00Noon

  • Prior medical office experience preferred
