The function involves the ability to handle multiple technology processes and re-engineering projects simultaneously with Basel, Risk Analytics, Collateral Management, front office Analytics, front office technology apart from RA and Technology.

Additional functions include coordinating and becoming involved in requirement gathering and understanding of end to end data flow among various technology streams. Also require participation in re-engineering projects, many of which have strict regulatory deadlines. This includes leveraging several regulatory and strategic teams globally to obtain project requirements. In conjunction with these initiatives, it is critical to interact with the teams noted above to accomplish required management of the projects.

Team members provide support by working with credit officers, technology and risk managers to understand the risk policies, procedures and processes, recommend improvements to policies and procedures, develop reporting and analytical/ technology based solutions that are scalable but flexible to be adapted to different industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interact with senior management to produce ad-hoc analysis upon request

  • Overseeing and ensuring the integrity of the risk data across multiple industries globally; maintain and continuously improve data quality

  • Work with Risk Technology and Reengineering teams on defining technology enhancements and process improvements towards greater efficiency.

  • Produce proposal documentation for enhancement of existing tools or additional tools, as need arise.

  • Prepare presentations for regulators and risk seniors.

  • Able to develop and maintain effective relationship with colleagues in Risk Management, other support functions, and with Product Sales and Desk Heads.

  • Ability to lead meetings involving diverse group of professionals is a strong plus.

  • Good issue-spotting skills and willingness to take initiative to address them.

  • Able to work independently Knowledge/Experience: Bachelor degree required additional degrees/designations which may include MBA, or MS desirable. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in a related risk management field.
