The ETL Developer will design, develop, enhance, performance tune and maintain Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) objects and scripts. They will liaise among stakeholders to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies and information systems.

  • Partners with business and technology partners to elicit, analyze, design and document technical requirements to determine improvements

  • Translates business requirements into technical requirements.

  • Conduct requirement analysis, design and implementation of business process changes

  • Develop, Extract, Transform and Load Logic that meet technical requirements

  • Conducts performance testing and tuning.

  • Implement data structures using the appropriate data technologies

  • Works closely with stakeholders to gather business and functional requirements and translates into scalable data solutions.

  • Documents, studies and analyzes current business processes and determine appropriate changes/ improvements

  • Write queries to correct, reformat, or move data

  • Extracts, migrates, and integrates data for assigned projects

  • Entry into governance systems

  • Support data warehouse build and infrastructure

  • Provide status reports to management team

  • Escalates project issues when necessary

  • Bachelor’s Degree or international equivalent preferred

  • 3+ years of relevant experience

  • Considerable experience working with general ETL architecture

  • Considerable experience with full life cycle of data including data analysis, ETL, dimensional modeling, data transformation and meta-data management

  • Significant exposure to ETL coding and database design

  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and data manipulation and analysis

  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

  • Advanced ability to extract, manipulate, and integrate enterprise data.
